Features

Day #1(Friday) : Kingsbury Loop (Route) 56 miles – 5000 feet

Most people don’t know about the hot springs on the back-side of Heavenly Ski Resort.  Not to mention the great roads and amazing scenery.  Starting from Meyers, this will be our solid climbing day of the tour. Nothing too steep but some long gradual climbs to start the ride and then Kingsbury grade (8 miles and 2500 ft) to get us to the top of Heavenly.  The rest of the route is a social ride through South Lake Tahoe, Pioneer Trail, and then home.

Day #2 (Saturday): America’s Most Beautiful Ride – Around Lake Tahoe (Route) 72 miles – 4000 feet

Some call this 72-mile circumnavigation of Lake Tahoe America’s Most Beautiful Bike Ride. We’ll ride clockwise around Lake Tahoe in both Nevada and California. It includes a challenging 800 foot climb to a rest stop overlooking Emerald Bay and a 1,000 foot climb to Spooner Junction. There are also many short rolling ascents and descents totaling over 4,000 vertical feet of elevation gain!

Day #3 (Sunday): Carson Pass (Route) 21miles – 3600 feet

This should be a fun climb out of Meyers to the top of Carson Pass, also known as the #5 in the Death Ride. This will be a quick out-and-back before we pack up the camp and head home.
